Tact from HOYA is a progressive lens which is especially suitable for working. As
a space lens designed to meet the highest requirements, Tact is made for the special needs of your customers’ jobs. It has broader near and intermediate zones than conventional progressive lenses. The advantage: ergonomic head posture.
Sometimes, mid-distance effectiveness is needed at work. Tact makes this possible. The fixation point for seeing at mid-distances and reading will be calculated on the basis of the “transmission design.” The power at the centration marking (pupil centre) amounts to 40% of the ordered addition value.
The result: the intermediate and near ranges are substantially increased, while there is a slight reduction in the distant zone, which has slight lateral limitations. The Tact design also allows for good stereoscopic vision.
Tact lenses are manufactured to meet your customers’ needs and are thus available in different ergonomic correction variants.
